Troubleshoot issues with machine learning models

Deployed model is enabled but not active

Issue

When you look at a model on the Compute Chain page, a red X displays next to the model and the tooltip says it is enabled but not active.

Resolution

  1. Close Arundo Edge.
  2. Restart Docker.
  3. Restart the Arundo Edge service.
  4. Reopen Arundo Edge.
  5. Select Logs on the sidebar.
  6. In From Agent, remove all of the filters except for ModelAgent.

  7. Click Reload.

  8. Review the logs while Arundo Edge attempts to download and run the model:

    • If the model downloads and runs successfully, no further action is required.
    • If the model still has issues, contact our Customer Support team for further assistance.

Model output doesn't display on the Viewer page

Issue

When you open the Viewer page, you don't see the calculated output for any models.

Resolution

  1. Close Arundo Edge.
  2. Restart Docker.
  3. Restart the Arundo Edge service.
  4. Reopen Arundo Edge.
  5. Select Logs on the sidebar.
  6. In From Agent, remove all of the filters except for ModelAgent.

  8. Review the logs while Arundo Edge attempts to download and run the model:
    • If the model downloads and runs successfully, no further action is required.
    • If the model still has issues, contact our Customer Support team for further assistance.

You can't deploy models to Arundo Edge

Issue

You can't deploy a model to Arundo Edge from the Models Manager in Arundo Fabric.

Resolution

  1. Close all open applications and restart the device.
  2. Start Docker and keep it running.
  3. Open a command-line application, such as Command Prompt or Terminal.
  4. Run the docker -v command:

    • If the Docker version and build numbers display, move to Step 5.
    • If an error message displays, restart Docker and run the docker -v command again. Move to Step 5 once you get the Docker version and build numbers to display.
  5. Open Arundo Composer.

  6. Browse to the model workspace and run the composer publish command.
  7. Open Arundo Fabric.
  8. Open the Models Manager.
  9. Deploy the model to Arundo Edge.
