A Simulator interface streams sample data from Arundo Edge to a cloud environment. Set up a Simulator interface to test how specific data streams to the cloud.

Adding a Simulator Interface

  1. On the sidebar, select Interfaces | Add new.
  2. Select Simulator.
  3. Enter a Name for the interface.
  4. Click Add interface.
  5. Click Add Tag.

  6. Complete one of the following:

    • Select Manual and add a tag manually.
    • Select File and upload a tag list.

  7. Click Add.

Tip

When adding tags, you can download a sample tag list by clicking the Download Sample CSV link on the File tab.

Managing Simulator Interfaces

Updating a Tag
  1. On the sidebar, select Interfaces and select the interface.
  2. Locate the tag in the Tags list.
  3. Click Edit next to the tag.
  4. Make changes as necessary.
  5. Click Save.
Deleting a Tag
  1. On the sidebar, select Interfaces and select the interface.
  2. Locate the tag in the Tags list.
  3. Click Delete next to the tag.
  4. Click OK.
Disabling a Simulator Interface
  1. On the sidebar, select Interfaces and select the interface.
  2. Deselect Enabled.
  3. Click Save.
Deleting a Simulator Interface
  1. On the sidebar, select Interfaces and select the interface.
  2. Click Delete.
  3. Click Yes.
